Clubhouse Keyless Entry

Effective immediately, access to the clubhouse will be via keyless entry.  Persons renting the clubhouse will automatically receive with their electronic confirmation, an access code, and instructions for accessing.  The code is good for day of rental only.  All keys for the clubhouse are no longer effective.  If you currently have the clubhouse rented for December and January, your will receive an email from the Clubhouse Coordinator with your code.  If you have not received your code, please contact .

Do not misplace your code; you will not be able to access the clubhouse without it and potentially cannot retrieve it.

Also, a reminder that the clubhouse calendar is now completely electronic.  Reservations are made thru the online calendar.  If you are not on the calendar and / or have not received a confirmation email with access code, you have not rented the clubhouse.  This applies to groups having repeat dates also.  Each individual reservation must be made online by date.  Each date will receive a specific access code applicable to that date only.

Many thanks to Gordon McAleb for developing the keyless entry for the Clubhouse.  It is an idea that has been a long time in planning and will enable us to more efficiently handle clubhouse reservations while controlling entry.

Keyless Entry Directions

  • The keypad is located to the right of the clubhouse front door
  • Press * followed by your four digit access code, followed by #
    • EXAMPLE:  *9999#
  • If the code is entered correctly, a green light will appear on the pad and you will have ten seconds to access the door, by pushing open.  The knob itself is disabled and will not open the door.
  • If the code is entered incorrectly, a red light will illuminate.  Once the red light is off, you may try again entering the correct code.
  • If an error is made while entering the code, simply press the * key and begin over.
  • About the four digit code:
    • These are valid for the day of your rental ONLY
    • As the lock resets ten seconds after entering the code, take care to not lock yourself and/or guests out.  Leaving the door ajar will permit easy entry / exist during your event.
    • Your code expires at midnight of your rental day.  If your event should run past that time or when cleaning up, take care to not lock yourself out.  After midnight, leave the door open or ajar until you are ready to leave.
    • The door can always be opened from the inside

Clubhouse Issues and Rules

The use of the Community Clubhouse of Watters Crossing is one of the many benefits, and privileges, of living in Watters Crossing. The main source of funds for the maintenance and upkeep of the facility is thru your dues. Rental fees help to defray this cost. Below are the clubhouse rules, including assessments that are deducted from the renter’s security deposit, when the clubhouse is not left in acceptable condition. It is critical for all renters to review the checklist supplied for any issues within the clubhouse when they arrive. Any cost for any issues discovered in the clubhouse are charged to the most recent renter of the facility.

The majority of people leave the clubhouse in excellent condition. However, there are some that do not adhere to the rules.

THE ISSUES MOST FOUND AT THE CLUBHOUSE ARE:

• Failure to set the alarm. As we have had vandalism in the area of both the Phase I and Phase II pools in the past, it is critical that the alarm is set at the clubhouse when you leave and “lock up”. That would bring us to our second most found issue;
• Failure to lock one or more doors to the clubhouse. The renter’s checklist includes checking that all doors are locked securely.
• Failure to return furniture, folding chairs to their original locations. Leaving folding tables and chairs out for someone else to store will cause a deduction to security deposits.
• Failure to observe the rule that no helium balloons are permitted within the clubhouse. Loose balloons become entangled in the ceiling fans and damage the motors. This is what happened with the two previous fans that were replaced last year.
• Failure to observe the rule that no adhesive tape is permitted on any clubhouse painted surface, both inside and out. Scotch tape either tears the paint off or is left for someone else to remove.

The clubhouse is a facility for use by Watters Crossing residents only. Your dues pay for all damage that occur there. We must all work together to maintain this facility to the highest standard.

Below are the rules and assessments for the rental of the clubhouse in their entirety.

Watters Crossing Community Clubhouse Rules

  • DO NOT tape, staple, or glue anything to any surface within this clubhouse or on the outside. Pushpins may be used if removed.
  • DO NOT fasten any decorations to any light fixtures or other decor.
  • DO NOT remove any furniture from any room to any other room, with the exception of:
    • The folding tables and chairs in the rear room closet.  These MUST be returned to the closet following your function.
    • The six chairs in the center dining room at the large table.  These MUST be returned to their original positions in the dining room following your function.
  • If rearranged, all furniture must be returned to its original location within that room.
  • Helium balloons are NOT permitted at any time.  Non-helium filled balloons may be used.
    • DO NOT leave dishes in the dishwasher.  There is no maid.
  • DO ensure that ALL doors are locked completely, when leaving:
    • Two front doors in middle room.
    • Kitchen door
    • All four French doors.  Ensure all sliding bolts on second door of French doors are engaged.
    • Front door.
  • DO ensure that alarm is set.
  • SMOKING IS NOT PERMITTED neither within the clubhouse nor on the clubhouse grounds at any time.
  • Maximum Clubhouse Capacity Rental is 100 persons
  • Bands / DJs / Music
    • No outside music is permitted after 10:00 PM.
    • All clubhouse doors must remain closed during music after 10:00 PM
    • Clubhouse rentals are no later than midnight.  All music must stop at midnight.  The Clubhouse is to be completely vacated by 1:00 AM.
  • ALL DEPOSIT CHECKS MUST BE FROM A WATTERS CROSSING RESIDENT WITH A WATTERS CROSSING ADDRESS PREPRINTED ON THE CHECK AND OR A CASHIER CHECK/CASH with a copy of the Watters Crossing Residences Drivers License.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.  If this is not adhered to, the event will be automatically cancelled and keys will not be available for pick-up!
  • Your reserved time is the only time that you personally have the clubhouse; that DOES NOT allow you to drop off items early or clean-up late.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.  It is disrespectful to the residents that have that time reserved and have paid for their event to be private!  IF YOU NEED MORE TIME THEN YOU MUST PAY FOR MORE TIME!   If your party may run late, it is recommended that, if you don't want to stay late and clean, you must pay for a 2 day rental which is $200.00

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE, AND OTHER SPECIFIC ITEMS WITHIN YOUR CLUBHOUSE AGREEMENT WILL RESULT IN LOSS
UP TO THE FULL AMOUNT
